Caregivers for your family—vetted by ours.
We're not a franchise; we're deeply rooted in the North Indy & Fishers communities. Get SupportFor most, there comes a time when a helping hand can make all the difference.
Whether you need assistance with mobility, safety, medication reminders, personal hygiene, or even companionship and running errands, inviting someone into the intimate space of your home can be unsettling.
At Clarity Care Givers, we understand this deeply. That’s why we don’t operate like a machine, placing warm bodies into homes with a revolving door. Instead, we carefully select the right caregiver with the ideal personality and skills to not only meet your needs but also bring genuine warmth and joy to your home.
Jane Malkoff, MSN, RN, NP
Hi, I’m Jane.
As the founder of Clarity Care Givers, I’d like to take a moment to say how genuinely glad I am that you found us. I know the worry and uncertainty that come with finding the right caregiver to invite into your home—it can feel overwhelming, and it’s hard to know if you’re making the best decision.
Let me share how Clarity Care Givers came to be. As a nurse practitioner in our community, I often recommended caregiving services to my patients. But time and again, I heard disappointing feedback. Eventually, I found a local company I could trust. It was when they closed their doors years later that I realized I could help—I had to help. Our families deserve a caregiving service built on integrity, compassion, and the kind of personal touch that large franchises just can’t replicate.
MY BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
My career in nursing started with a bachelor’s degree in 1988, followed by a master’s in adult health and a Nurse Practitioner Certification in 1994. Since then, I’ve managed chronic diseases, dementia, and aging-related issues in homes, facilities, and hospitals. This journey has given me deep insight into the struggles families face and the support they truly need.
In 1998, driven by a lifelong passion to make a difference, I launched a care consulting company. By 2011, that vision grew into Clarity Care Givers—a response to the pressing need for personalized, compassionate caregiving. Today, I have the privilege of being a daily resource for people searching for solutions and peace of mind during stressful health and care situations.
licensed personal caregiving (noun)
There can be confusion around the types of caregiving services available, so I want to be clear about what we offer. We are a licensed personal services agency (care giving company) in the State of Indiana, which means we provide non-medical assistance to support your loved one’s daily life. This includes help with bathing, meal preparation, companionship, errands, and more.
While medical companies provide nurses to do things only a nurse can do, like injections and wound care, our role is to ensure comfort, safety, and quality of life at home.
Here are a few more specific ways we help:
- Medication assistance
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Companionship
- Assistance with bathing and hygiene
- Safety monitoring
- Errands and transportation to appointments
- Hair care
- Dressing
- Personal grooming
- Assistance with transfers and mobility
- Nail and oral care
- Shaving assistance
- Toileting support
- Changing bed linens
- General tidying of living areas
- Recreational activity support
