Caregivers for your family—vetted by ours.

We're not a franchise; we're deeply rooted in the North Indy & Fishers communities.
Get Support

For most, there comes a time when a helping hand can make all the difference.

Whether you need assistance with mobility, safety, medication reminders, personal hygiene, or even companionship and running errands, inviting someone into the intimate space of your home can be unsettling.

At Clarity Care Givers, we understand this deeply. That’s why we don’t operate like a machine, placing warm bodies into homes with a revolving door. Instead, we carefully select the right caregiver with the ideal personality and skills to not only meet your needs but also bring genuine warmth and joy to your home.

We only place caregivers we’d trust with our own loved ones.

Jane Malkoff, MSN, RN, Owner, Founder

Jane Malkoff, MSN, RN, NP

Hi, I’m Jane.

As the founder of Clarity Care Givers, I’d like to take a moment to say how genuinely glad I am that you found us. I know the worry and uncertainty that come with finding the right caregiver to invite into your home—it can feel overwhelming, and it’s hard to know if you’re making the best decision.

Let me share how Clarity Care Givers came to be. As a nurse practitioner in our community, I often recommended caregiving services to my patients. But time and again, I heard disappointing feedback. Eventually, I found a local company I could trust. It was when they closed their doors years later that I realized I could help—I had to help. Our families deserve a caregiving service built on integrity, compassion, and the kind of personal touch that large franchises just can’t replicate.

MY BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

My career in nursing started with a bachelor’s degree in 1988, followed by a master’s in adult health and a Nurse Practitioner Certification in 1994. Since then, I’ve managed chronic diseases, dementia, and aging-related issues in homes, facilities, and hospitals. This journey has given me deep insight into the struggles families face and the support they truly need.

In 1998, driven by a lifelong passion to make a difference, I launched a care consulting company. By 2011, that vision grew into Clarity Care Givers—a response to the pressing need for personalized, compassionate caregiving. Today, I have the privilege of being a daily resource for people searching for solutions and peace of mind during stressful health and care situations.

licensed personal caregiving (noun)

There can be confusion around the types of caregiving services available, so I want to be clear about what we offer. We are a licensed personal services agency (care giving company) in the State of Indiana, which means we provide non-medical assistance to support your loved one’s daily life. This includes help with bathing, meal preparation, companionship, errands, and more.

While medical companies provide nurses to do things only a nurse can do, like injections and wound care, our role is to ensure comfort, safety, and quality of life at home.

Here are a few more specific ways we help:

  • Medication assistance
  • Light housekeeping
  • Meal preparation
  • Companionship
  • Assistance with bathing and hygiene
  • Safety monitoring
  • Errands and transportation to appointments
  • Hair care
  • Dressing
  • Personal grooming
  • Assistance with transfers and mobility
  • Nail and oral care
  • Shaving assistance
  • Toileting support
  • Changing bed linens
  • General tidying of living areas
  • Recreational activity support

What our clients are saying.

Trust takes time.

We respond as urgently as we can to families’ needs, but we don’t rush the process of getting to know one another. When you reach out, here’s what you can expect:

First, we take time to listen.

Your first call is with me, Jane, and it’s never rushed. I’m here to really listen, understand what you and your loved one need, and offer honest guidance—even if we’re not the best fit. Whether we chat just once or have a few conversations, I want you to feel comfortable and confident before moving forward.

Next, we thoughtfully choose your caregiver.

We carefully vet our caregivers and treat them with the respect they deserve so they become trusted members of our team. We don't just match skills—we work hard to find the right personality for your home, too. You can meet your caregiver before you give approval, whether at our office, a coffee shop, or at home—whatever makes you feel most comfortable.

Finally, we’re always here for you.

When care begins, our caregivers arrive on time, ready to provide the support and connection that fits your needs. Your custom care plan adapts as your needs change, ensuring continuous support. And with my personal phone number, you can reach out anytime for questions or adjustments.

Our caregivers find great meaning in their work.

I am fortunate to be a part of the Clarity Care Givers family. I began my career in apartment management, but raising our two boys led me to look for a better balance in my work life. One day, I came across an ad for a caregiver. It sounded like something I would really love because I have always been service oriented and enjoy working with people.

I started with Clarity as a caregiver and I had wonderful assignments and built great relationships. I decided I wanted to interact on a larger scale with all of the caregivers and clients at Clarity. My role with Clarity as Client Services Facilitator and Accounts Receivable Specialist has allowed me to do just that.

Each day, I have the opportunity to talk with our clients and caregivers. I take pride in knowing I can ensure the needs of our clients are met and our caregivers are working at the capacity they want while being treated respectfully. I love what I do. Each day is different and rewarding.

It takes a very special kind of person with the right heart to do the work we do. We have a pool of talented caregivers on our staff to interact with, which makes me very happy. I have a deep respect for each of them. I know our clients are very pleased to be part of our family too.

I am very excited to have joined Jane Malkoff and her team at Clarity Care Givers. It was a whole new adventure for me when I started many years ago. I had spent the majority of my career in the manufacturing arena. I have held positions in accounting and finance, inventory finance, HR, employee engagement, corporate social responsibility, and corporate communications. However, in all those years, nothing compares to the passion I have seen while at Clarity Care Givers.

Each team member at Clarity is driven to give each client the highest level of care with the greatest degree of respect and dignity. Clarity’s professionalism and dedication to the population they serve is my inspiration. Every day, I am committed to delivering my best service with the same level of dedication as my peers.

I began working with Clarity Care Givers in 2013. I have had the privilege to serve in a variety of duties. Before joining Clarity, I spent 23 years working in human resources at a variety of corporations, including St. Vincent Hospital and Sallie Mae, Inc. I appreciate the loving spirit each of my co-workers exhibit. We do this type of work because each person we serve, as well as each one of us, will face or is facing aging and/or health-related changes. It humbles me and makes me appreciate the cycle of life.
