Care giving is essential to every culture. It has been with us for more years than we can historically trace. This makes care giving an unavoidable and necessary part of the human experience.
As I found myself feeling this way in the middle of a sea of autumn lovers this year (including the ones drinking pumpkin spice lattes in August), I wanted to understand my angst about this joy fully being expressed for the season. I also needed to make sense out of what seemed like craziness to hear others wanting to eagerly dispose of summer, which is the BEST season.
We know there are no easy solutions but sometimes a quick “reset” to prioritize and reduce stress might help to capture at least a few rays of sunshine and rest. I thought I would share the 5 X 5 rule in case it may be just the right and simple trick to provide you with a few wonderful summer moments.
