I am frequently asked how a relationship with a care consultant (navigator, advocate, care manager) actually works and who will pay for it. I hope what follows provides the answers. If questions remain I can be reached directly at #317.979.3700.
- Clarity Care Advocates is a professional private care consulting company proving services primarily in Marion County and the surrounding donut counties. We navigate, advocate, guide and manage care in all settings. As private consultants we work directly for our clients.
- We work with adult clients to find the options and solutions for any given health care circumstance.
- Medical insurance does not cover care consulting services. In the same way, medical insurance does not cover private entities such as elder law services, accountant services, etc. It would not be advisable to have accountants, attorneys or care consultants regulated by insurance companies.
- Anyone, regardless of age or financial ability, can reach out to Clarity Care Advocates. We take direct calls from anyone interested in information about what we do and how we do it. We also take direct calls from any professional inquiring into if we can answer a question for them or assist them with a client’s need.
- We first give everyone a free one hour consult in order to determine if we are a fit for them. In that hour, we can sometimes give enough advice to help solve a problem and we are not needed in any ongoing fashion. Sometimes the first one hour is simply the first step into a long and trusting relationship.
- Rates are either hourly, flat fee for a specific one time or monthly project, or pro bono when no funds are available.
- New inquiry calls are returned within 24-48 hours. The urgency of the call determines next steps.
- Entry into a relationship begins with an assessment. The assessment type is determined by the circumstance at hand and variables involved.
- Our goal is “your success with decreased stress” so we go above and beyond to bring you stellar customer service and to make certain there are no surprises.
