Capturing the Next Step
By Jane A. Malkoff MSN RN NP
What moves you to take action? Maybe it is an inspiring story, poem, or quote. Perhaps you are more driven by setting personal daily goals and sticking to them. Action steps could also be generated in response to a crisis or to a sense of time running out. I believe each person is unique in what motivates their next step.
Isn’t it interesting when you finally capture the next step and a path begins to reveal itself, you simply can’t make it happen quickly enough as you leap into action? Suddenly, you are ready, now!

After-all, it is our specialty.
Here is a quote I would like to share with you for those “next steps” you will be facing; “The secret of getting ahead is getting started. The secret of getting started is breaking your complex overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks, and then starting on the first one.”
Happy capturing!
