Radical Beagle, the beloved mascot here at Clarity Care Givers

Hi there, Radical Beagle here.

Yes, I’m Radical Beagle, the beloved mascot here at Clarity Care Givers. I like to help human caregivers remember to take care of themselves, too. Sure, you have checklists and routines—but life’s about more than ticking boxes. Sometimes, what you really need is a little harmony, like taking a moment to dance in the kitchen or pausing to check in with what your body’s telling you.

On this page, I’ll introduce you to resources that help bring balance to the serious and the silly, the structured and the spontaneous. There’s a blog filled with gentle nudges and reflections, plus a support group where real talk and shared stories are always welcome. So, take a breath, wag your tail (even if you don’t have one), and let’s explore how to care for yourself and your loved ones with a bit more ease and joy.

You’re invited.

I’d like to extend a special invite to Sustain, a warm and welcoming support group led by Jane, founder of Clarity Care Givers. We gather on the fourth Tuesday of every month, and guess what? It’s free and free of any marketing. This isn’t your typical support group where it’s all talk about how hard caregiving is or what you should be doing better. Sustain is more like walking into a family home, grabbing a snack, and settling in for some real, heartfelt conversation.

Come when you want, leave when you need to—take a breather. We’re here to share, listen, and remind each other that we’re all in this together. So, if you’re ready for a space that feels more like a cozy gathering than a meeting, I’ll see you at Sustain. Bring your stories, your questions, or just yourself. We’ll be here.

Self-Care is Not Fad

Self-Care is Not Fad

When we are remarkably busy and filled with information overload it is important to adjust our perspective away from only the accomplishment of the tasks at hand for the benefit of another to awareness of the most vital component of accomplishing those tasks well for another.  This component is self-care-as-a-habit.
